Stay Empowered During the Coronavirus Pandemic
I know that in these last couple weeks fear and anxiety have been something a lot of us are feeling. I just want to offer my love and support through this time. You aren’t alone. I had to pull myself out of the fear of the coronavirus pandemic as well. I decided to step back into the co-creative role of my life and focus on being empowered, informed, prepared, and to keep the peace within myself.
I have 2 kids and I know that it is easy to fall into freak out mode, but I want to share some things that you can do to keep the peace, feel empowered, and centered during this time.
Physically, do what you can to boost your immune systems.
There are plenty of herbs that you can use to help with this. Personally, I have made a homemade batch of elderberry syrup and I give the recommended dose to my family every day, just to keep our immune systems up. You can also buy elderberry syrup or the capsules at almost any store that carries supplements. Here is the recipe I use if you are interested. It is super quick in the instapot! This recipe has instructions for both stovetop and instapot.
I also love drinking herbal tea for an extra boost for my immune system. My favorites are echinacea tea, chamomile tea, Detox tea (Yogi Brand), and rosehip tea. Dandelion root, lemon balm, and peppermint tea are also good for immune support. Drinking a couple of cups a day helps! (I am not a doctor, I am just sharing my personal routine)
Eating a healthy diet is something we should be doing all the time, but especially right now. Load up on your fruits and veggies! You need those vitamins and minerals! Here is a recipe for a delicious veggie soup that I love to make.
Get some light exercise in every day. Even if it is just 15 minutes. I love Yoga with Adriane and Fightmaster Yoga on Youtube. Here are a couple of links if you want to give it a go!

Mentally, you want to stay out of fear mode and get into an empowered, peaceful place.
Meditation is great for this. Everyone has a different style of what they need to do to connect. Meditation does not have to be sitting in lotus position on the floor for 30 minutes while chanting Sanskrit mantras. It can be journaling, it can be playing an instrument, or it can even be crocheting. Whatever gets you connected to your Soul, do that!
I personally love to Journal. It is a way I can release what is on my mind, and align myself with my heart. It helps me so much and writing is such a beautiful medicine for me. Write down your fears or worries. Let them out! Give those fears space to just be. And then once you have recognized and listened to your fears with full presence, that is when you can more easily shift yourself into alignment with a healthier and more empowered mindset. Be there for yourself. Don’t just try to ignore your fears. That never works. You can also write down some affirmations for vibrant health.

I also love guided meditations, chanting, and playing the piano and guitar. It gets me out of my head and into my heart. Here is a link to a Peace Mantra I recorded a few years ago if you would like to chant with me! It will make you feel so much more peaceful after! Give it a try!
Spiritually, keep your heart open and look at the higher perspective.
Shift yourself into the observer mode where you are able to stay in a higher perspective without being overwhelmed with everything going on around and inside of you. I love Mooji's teachings for this. He has such a peaceful and calm energy. Check out his YouTube channel and listen to one of his messages.
Also, here are some crystals you can use to boost the immune system and also help balance your mind, body, and soul.
Amethyst helps boosts the immune system, opens the heart, and balances our emotions releasing fear and anxiety.
Bloodstone is a powerful healing stone. It is also known as the “stone of courage”. It is good for grounding, balancing the mind, body, and soul, and releasing toxins in the body.
Rose Quartz is a powerful stone to attune and align you to the love frequency. This will instantly pull you into a calmer, more open, and loving state of being. It is also known to help remove impurities from the body.
Green Calcite is such a calming stone! I always feel more peaceful when I am holding one. It is also known to boost the immune system.
Clear Quartz is a master healer and can be used to help clear the mind, body, and soul.
If you would like to work with crystals during this time for emotional and physical health during this time, pick the crystal you would like to use (or if you’re extra like me you have one of each), hold it to your heart and set your intentions for how you would like to focus the energy of the crystals. Here is an example of what you could say to empower your crystal.
“ I ask that this crystal will focus its energy to help boost my immune system and keep me balanced mind, body, and soul.”
When you are empowering your crystals make sure that you really feel your intention and use your words with power to direct it into the crystal. I also imagine pure divine energy flowing into the crystal to align it with my intentions. Keep these stones and crystals near you to benefit from its energy.
